Leading Technical Institute Relies on Phoenix Air Core Reactors
Located in Metropolitan Boston, one of the world’s leading scientific universities conducts research funded by both government and private organizations. To handle future electrical demand, the university had undertaken an ambitious program to upgrade every facet of its power distribution system. As part of this program, the university turned to Phoenix Electric Corporation to upgrade it’s current-limiting reactors and to fit the new higher capacity reactors into the same space.

Hydroelectric Station Upgrades High-Current Switchgear
With a hydroelectric generating capacity of 1100 megawatts, the 8-generator Muddy Run Pumped Storage Facility in southeastern Pennsylvania helps the mid-Atlantic power grid meet peak demands. The local Amish families won’t use a single watt produced by the plant, but the rest of us —— millions of electricity users —— take it for granted that our air conditioners, televisions, and other appliances will work when we turn them on.
